Uncle John's Flying Tips #12 – Radio Usage

Radios can be really useful for us paraglider pilots, we even have some club radios to help newbies

The radios we use can transmit up to 100 miles and make no mistake, every time you press the transmit button, you are breaking the law

However, we have an agreement that they won’t come after us, providing we are we stick to the correct frequencies and are sensible

So 2 top tips for the price of one:

Be sensible with your radio transmissions and mind your language

As my old mum always says, if you can’t say something without swearing, then say nothing at all!
Remember - It's only Flying!
