28th July 2010 - Following on from the Twitter introduction - I have added a SWWSC facebook page which can be found at http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/South-West-Wales-Soaring-Club/129561560420446

The idea is principally advertising for the website and to use it to promote our brilliant sport!

Any ideas for the page please feel free to give me a shout.

There is also a live feed at the bottom left of the website.

27th July 2010 - Created a twitter group called swwsc1 as swwsc is already taken - integrated it into the website top right. I have also installed a modification which can automatically post what people are posting in the forums into the twitter feed. So far I have only switched on the News & Announcements section as I didn't want to bombard the twitter feed without some feedback first.

15th June 2010 - ** For club members - resurrected the members map which allows you to place a "pin" on google maps showing our location. Your location can be changed in your profile. The main page is available here:

15th June 2010 - ** For club members - Added a route map which is useful for finding directions between two addresses. I have defaulted the map to the next club meeting place. To find directions, clear the start box and put your own address in and click directions. Eventually when the mod is expanded by the author we should be able to put directions between our flying sites and your start location.

I've limited the number of shouts visible in the shoutbox to 20. The reason for this is, if you view the website on a mobile phone, the shoutbox sometimes appears with every shout visible (due to scripts etc not parsing correctly), so doing this will make it easier to view the frontpage.

You can see a history of shouts by clicking the symbol.

Mr Eric Lewis of Tyle - Fedwen Farm is the owner of the lower take-off   field and the fee is £2.00 per glider payable at the farmhouse.  There   is no fee if you choose to walk up to the top of the hill and use the   upper take-off area.

Please DO NOT park in front of, or obstructing the Forestry   Commission's access barrier even on week-ends as access is also   required for the small holding via the barrier.

7/3/10 - Oops, not many updates although I have been tweaking behind the scenes

• Changed the core theme to a neater one and moved  "board news" to middle as it didn't look good to the right side.
• Added a "Your Profile" link on main menu to access personal messages, account, gallery etc

13/12/09 - Added a mobile phone theme, basically it detects you are using a phone and formats the website for easier viewing automatically. This is device dependent and if your device can switch between mobile view and normal view your results will vary. Mobile view has to be switched on to take advantage of the theme.
