Mardy night (3rd October)

Went to the Castle Inn in Pontlliw last night.  Not a great turnout but enjoyed some pleasant conversation with Jon Pope.  The venue seems to fit the bill so I think we shall  congregate there for the December meeting.

Hi Steve

The venue for the November meeting(wed Nov 1st - 20:00 ish)  is the Castle Inn, 59 - 61 Swansea Road, Pontlliw.

Directions: From J47M4, take the Penllegaer turnoff and turn right for Pontlliw at the next mini roundabout(500m).  It's 2km to Pontlliw and the Castle Inn is on the right after you pass under the railway bridge.  Beware of speed cameras on approach to the village!

Due to the recent changes at the Mardy (it's a lot noisier these days),
it has been suggested that we look for a new venue for the Club's monthly chin-wag. The Plough & Harrow, just off Junction 46 of the M4 at Llangyfelach, has been nominated as the meeting point for 3rd October.
See you there at 8pm (ish)
