Just one Cornetto, give it to me, stick it up my ass in Italy.......which happens to be a great place to fly, Italy that is, not my ass, though some strong wind has been known there...... We were flying in the Stunning Dolomite mountains, massive limestone rock walls such as the Sassalungo and the Sella dominate the landscape, and it was pretty intimidating soaring these, but it was the most dramatic flying i've ever done and i will be going back for a couple of weeks next year to complete parts of the classic route that i didn't manage this time.
See my gallery for some pics.

25/05/07.  Brecon beacons.. Beautiful soaring with red kites and a traverse of the peaks of the central beacons.
Landed in the Lofoton islands in Norway 15hrs 07 mins later, 1078.63 K, got me some dried Haddock.
