Just a reminder to all pilots parking in the church carpark. There is no compulsory charge for parking but there is a box on the wall near the gateway for donations towards the maintenance of the church. All donations are gratefully received by the church. I have heard on the local grapevine that - and I quote
"the fliers don't seem to put any money in the box". Now it seems that the person looking after the chuch lives close by and has been making observations.
The church carpark is very convenient to us and does not have a daily charge of £2.50 as does the main carpark next to the hotel. So, in the interests of good P.R., it would do no harm to try and remember to stick at least some loose change in the box.
