Heol Senni. Monday 12th May 2008.
Finally made it out on the hill again.
Parawaited with Ivor in a howling wind, finally launched into pretty benign conditions, not much thermic activity and very little dynamic lift with the still strong breeze off the hill to the east.
Still, best part of an hour was better than no flying at all.

Rhossili. Sunday 27th January.

Nice to dust off the cobwebs and enjoy an hour or so relaxed flying,  the orographic cloud made for an even more picturesque backdrop than usual.
Just getting ready to land and pack up when someone fell passed locked into a cravated spiral, too close for comfort from my perspective, deployed reserve at no more than 50 feet, it opened and he swung back under and hit the ground immediately.  (Somehow landing between the rocks in the stream on the raised beach).
Landed with StevieG expecting serious injury, amazed when he got up having only been winded.
Pub on the way home to contemplate the meaning of life!!!
