As the sun is setting that would suggest the possibility of the sunlight striking the cloud from a lower aspect thus creating a sort of northern lights effect on the dust particles in this particular cloud, as opposed to the earths ozone layer in the case of the nothern lights.Although it could be something paranormal or even an isolated case of some unnofficial government cloud seeding.First time i've visited your site by the way and I enjoyed reading about 9/11 something I have often thought was a set up just for an excuse to invade the middle east.

Hi Steve

Are they lenticular?  Reported UFO sightings do tend to increase during periods when wave formations are present in the atmosphere.

Hi guys - some photos have been uploaded to my UFO website and I was wondering if anyone here would know what causes this cloud formation. Excuse me if I should know and its a "normal" formation but I cannot remember reading about it in studing for the pilot exam.
