After visiting the 7 Sisters site yesterday I have to inform you all that the protocol for flying at the site has changed slightly.
Throughout the winter landscaping activities in front of the ridge have been suspended resulting in the office compound being removed ie. there is no-one around to seek permission to access the TO area.
Members wishing to fly should first contact Mr. Ed Payne the deputy manager of Energy Build Ltd. for permission to cross the area. This is in the interest of everyone's safety as the track which leads to the TO area is built for extremely large earth-moving vehicles; on a dusty day it can be hard for the drivers of such vehicles to see a small car in their path which might lead to an accident. Even staff members are prohibited from traveling along these routes in their cars.
During the next few months of dry weather

the company is planning on restarting the landscaping project which will lead to the area becoming busy again.
Please note also that the gates to the staff car parking area, where you should park your car, are locked at 5 pm.
