11/04/09. Rhossili. WNW 12-15mph. 20-10c... a late start at Rhossili, a lot of visiting pilots around and a handfull of regulars... about 3pm it became doable, only gettin a few hundred ft ato then scratching... an on and off sort of day... got 40mins... then it just died off...most people landed on the beach, packed up and seemed to go home?... while having our after flight pint, we watched a lonely pilot scratching around, then all of a sudden the wind started to kick in... we quickly went back and had over an hours worth of smooth flying gettin a good 1000ft ato... again people flying out to sea... the tide was in... practicing there fun stuff... a good day... 1.45mins airtime... thanks Gareth Pawan for helping Chriss and me untangle his lines, a bit off a mess it was...

10/4/09. Rhossili. WNW 15-16mph. 9c... what a day, it started to work around 1ish and was on till 7ish, a small group of pilots in the air, only a handfull of locals, everyone was having fun doing there own thing, ridge soaring....some practiceing there wingovers and spirals...some doing sats... even Nick was doing wing overs, never seen him do that before, he was quite good... I was on tandem all day, my passenger let me practice throwing it about, that Bi5 is a good safe wing... we were all getting a good 1000ft asl and hours of flying under our belts... 1.55 for me
