Thu 13 Aug - Rhossili
Had 2 flights in much smoother air conditions with bags of lift everywhere.  Landed on the pimple after 44 mins as it seemed to be getting a bit stronger and waited until things seemed to have eased a little.  Still reading 14/15 mph on the front of the pimple when I launched again and found myself going backwards slowly and upwards quickly.  Settled into the harness and made easy enough forward progress and played around in the huge smooth lift for 50 mins. Max height over 1300 ft asl which is the best I've done at Rhossili.  Decided on a beach landing and was surprised to find the wind was 15 mph even there.

Thu Aug 6 - Rhossili
3 flights, 39, 45 & 47 mins, started in light soarable conditions, just enough to take off from the pimple, the amount and range of lift increased through the afternoon.  By 7 it had got too strong for most.

Sat 25 July - Rhossili
just over 10 mins in the air before it went a bit southerly and snotty.  At least the wing got an airing and I got a nice bacon & egg ciabatta in the cafe afterwards.

Fri 10 July - Rhossili
approx 1 hour airtime, 1 top landing and 2 pimple landings.  Just thinking it had got a bit too strong for me when rain stopped play anyway.

Mon 15 June - Rhossili
Somehow managed to get myself dragged across the pimple towards the gully on my first attempt at launching in very good conditions.  No damage done thankfully. Just over an hour in the air including 3 or 4 pimple landings and 1 top landing.

Sunday 12 April - Rhossili
10 mins scratching around in 8 - 12 mph winds, occasionally getting just above t/o thanks to little thermal bubbles, before opting for the pimple rather than ending on the beach.

Flew for the first time since my accident almost 13 months ago.  Wind was initially very light so my first flight was just a few minutes scratching around before landing on the beach with several others. Felt reassured that the 2nd hand wing and harness I bought were functioning ok and when the wind picked up later on had a very pleasant 35 mins floating around before testing my landing skills on the pimple and then another 30 mins which included a couple of landings in the top takeoff area.  Feels great to be back flying.
