good on your flyin mate... Ground handlin I luv as much as flyin...I cant understand pilots just lyin round on the hill when they could be playin with there wings...you can always tell a good pilot by there ground skills... the flyin part is easy... 1hr gound play is worth 10hrs flyin

wooooohoooo0 unbelievable day at Pandy today.friday evening Mikey a newbie pilot calls to ask if i think it flyable today ?.the only slot flyable will if at all be from sun up to 10am i said!mikey is real keen we arrange to both leave home 5am and head for pandy were on the hill by 6am  and in the air strait away .fair play mikey doubled his air time he flew over 2hours we had good time working the gentle breeze 12mph ese then ene .the wind backed whilst i was going from lower ridge over the trees and i sink and heading strait for a TREE i hang a right and i miss the tree but my rush did not .it wasnt long befor im back on take off and play on the lower ridge the thermals start kicking off and geting to the higher ridge isnt a problem .i beat my personal best of 5hr 15mins by an hour. .who would ever of thought a 15hour window wings flying constantly till past 9.30pm ...

monday sat having a shandy when mikey calls and asks if im flying ?no but he was right it looks flyable we both head for fochrew and i  arrive about 7.45pm to find karl landing and richard still flying i pushed  real hard to get to launch thinking im going to take off and just stay up as long as possible which came at 9.10 the luvly peachy lifty stuff turned to real strong speed bar and if not already on ground -big ears in minutes.i clocked 1hour14minutes 120 ft ato max bringin to 4hrs for the weekend .this flight was the best overall.

after a nite off celerbrating at a friends wedding on friday i awoke with a hang over but still made the effort to get up and out .noris and i meet up with evin wifey and tom at talybont for 9am to find it blown out in car park <what a relief>by 12 we head for myndd meo a few flights in lifty sinky sucky conditions .by 4pm id had enough so last flight intendin to flyt down .it was a fight ,noris recorded 1400 ft ato .he also had to fight his way down .after some food and two solphedine i was feeling brand new, which was good as the wind was now west and around 6mph outside my house .a text to noris to say im heading to fochrew .i arrived on site 7.10 pm to find reech rob and  a red ribbon newbie having a nice time .reech and rob were landing as i took off <they had a long day and a long trip home >.noris turns up and we have a real nice float around in luvly conditions  .noris flys down packs up and disapears leaving myself and the newbie to enjoy the lush smooth lift .michelle arrives then another by 9.15 id had enough too .14 hr hour day im beat !.
sunday morning i head to pandy another long day sat around for most of it .one ttb and a few flights real scrachy side landings 5.30 pack up and head for the pandy inn for a shandy with micky and tom ...today -monday meet with johny kayak at abergavenny for ttb,s off the blorenge --not the best flying weekend but a good one !maybe 3n half hours airtime all weekend ,beter than a kick up the ****!
