A big thankyou to Stevie G for organising last night's meeting.  The food was really yummy!  I suppose the meal time went on a bit and we didn't get too much time downstairs at the bar afterwards but hey, I guess with posh nosh, you really should linger and savour it!

Great to chat with such a good turnout

its been suggested by Nasher that we might try alternative venues for our club meets so as to enable others to join in... not a bad idea... the Pen-y-Cae is a friendly venue close to Brecon and has a lot to offer, as in good ales, excellent foods and its modern grandeur decor...
We are thinking off holding our Christmas dinner there, if we can get a booking and enough interest?
Anyway, a handfull of us want to test out the fair in advance on the date off our September meeting...those that are interested in dinning for around 7ish could do so, and those that just want to attend the meeting could join us around the 8ish afterwards, that would be great... I think we may have 7 so far for the meal...if people could let me know asap we could get something going for this month...OR...if someone can come up with any other suggestions/ideas that would be great too... this is open for discusion...all welcome....Stevie G

Other venues at different times nearer to Swansea.... Pontardawe... to be discussed/decided??? its all open at the moment....
