Anyone visiting our Cwmafan site should be aware that there is maintenance work being carried out on the forestry plantation roads. In short this means heavy lorries travelling along the dirt road leading from the main road to the lower TO area and dumping large amounts of hard core to up-grade the internal forestry tracks. This is to aid harvesting operations due to take place next year.
The risk to us is a possible collision with a lorry while travelling to and from the lower TO area. It's very busy there at the moment. Please don't park at the side of the roadway near the forestry entrance; these lorries are big !
