The evening of re-packing in Pont Lliw was excellent.  I counted 21 pilots there - must be a record!  What a great club, where the eagles (such as Nick Roberts and Steve Parsons) lend a hand to mere sparrows like me!  My special thanks go to Chris Dusgate and Tom for sorting out my reserve - that thing I would never wish to see, other than inside Pont Lliw village hall!

And a  big thankyou to everyone who came along and showed such enthusiasm.  It was very encouraging to see such a good turnout.  The tea and coffee service was pretty good too!   ;D

Hi,
I just wanted to say thank you very much to Nick for repacking my reserve, I think it was really useful to actually see it out of the bag. It makes it seem more real, I think I'd be more inclined to have a go at deploying it now, should the need ever arise! hopefully though these are the only occasions I'll get to see it!
Thanks for the warm welcome once again, I'm so glad I've joined the club, I look forward to getting to know everyone.
Chiara

Hi Nick, would it be okay if I brought my Gin 1 G along with harness? I't hasn't been done for several years.
Cheers.

Hi all,
I just wondered whether members of other clubs can come along and join in with the
re-pack? I have no idea when mine was last re-packed, it was a gift, so I would definately benefit from having a look at it.
Hope to see you!
Chiara

The club will be holding it's Annual Parachute Repack at Pontlliw Village Hall on saturday April 3rd from 19:30 till 23:00.

If your rescue chute needs repacking and/or inspecting then do come along and learn about about this essential piece of safety equipment.  We have been running our repacking sessions annually for many years and experienced helpers will be on hand to give assistance and advice.

To get there : leave M4 at J47 and take the exit for Penllegaer then turn right for Pontlliw at the mini-roundabout and after 1 mile, go through the village(beware the speed cameras!) and the hall is on the left at the traffic lights.

See you all there
