Site information
The hill can trigger good thermals and has some XC potential in Spring and late Summer but
proximity to the coast means that sea breezes arrive all too quickly during late Spring/High
Summer. Best flown in light winds as tree covered slopes can generate turbulence in more
moderate wind conditions.
Please DO NOT park in front of or obstruct Natural Resources Wales access barrier even on weekends.
Rules
Stay clear of masts on top. When top landing, stay well clear of the masts on the hilltop and do not attempt to top land in the lee of the main forest. Power lines on approach to bottom landing. The bottom landing field may also be turbulent in breezy conditions.
